FLIPSIDE REVIEWS - TOP 110 TRACKS OF 2019

There was I thinking that 2019 had been a disappointing year, musically speaking. However when editing down my rolling Spotify playlist of over 1100 to just 10% of its original size, I was surprised at just how much had amazed and astounded me.

Once again, electronica features heavily in the summary list. 2019's's Album of the Year by Ultramarine (Signals Into Space) represents the genre perfectly. But I've also discovered some great dance tracks and a slew of engaging tracks from a style that I guess still gets termed as 'Krautrock'.

I've arranged the playlist in reverse order from 110 to 1, deliberately putting three tracks from the aforementioned best album at the top (or bottom, depending on how you approach it).
