Germany's Tapete label could never be accused of just sticking to home-soil artists - Lacrosse, for example, hail from Sweden, the land of ABBA, Christian Kjellvander and Kings of Convenience to name but three. Sadly, none of these esteemed acts has rubbed off on Lacrosse who not only sport a fairly feeble moniker but make music so limp and sugary, you could smother it in icing and sell it as an aural cupcake.

But it's not all bad - opener Don't Be Scared is really rather potent in pop terms. If Royksopp teamed up with Camera Obscura for a one-off single, they might well come up with this pleasing little ditty. What they wouldn't come up with is the rest of the album. I Told You So (Didn't I?) is a clunky indie-pop-by-numbers number with lyrics so banal, I nodded off. Worse is the twee I Need Your Heart/I Need You Soul, driven along by a plinky-plonk keyboard hook and the most irritating and heinous songwriting crimes known to man, a chorus of 'ah ah ah oh' throughout. Bloody hell.

The album's title-track bears all the hallmarks of a cutesy building society advert and only Give You More prompts repeated listens - the remaining few tunes aren't really tunes, they're doodles and if you like doodles then Lacrosse will fill your world with joy.
